6th Grade - KAF Bake For Good

posted Oct 5, 2016, 11:01 AM by Michael Lepene

RMS is joining with King Arthur Flour to bring the "Bake for Good" program to our 6th grade students.  Bake for Good will begin Wednesday October 12th with an assembly where bread baking skills are demonstrated.  Wednesday afternoon students will bring home a kit with supplies to make two loaves of bread. Gluten-free kits are available.  Students should prepare the bread keeping a portion for their family and bringing a loaf to Richmond on Monday, October 17th.  Anissa Morrison will also be available in the Living Arts classroom Thursday October 13th after school if students would prefer to do the baking at school.

The bread baked by RMS 6th grade students will be donated to Willing Hands. Willing Hands is an Upper Valley organization distributing donated foods to 50+ human service organizations.  The hands on learning of your child will support those who are food insecure or hungry in the Upper Valley.  If you have questions about this project please contact Anissa Morrison at
