The RMS Student Council organized a student mock election on Thursday. We joined schools across NH in providing a polling experience for our students. Results from our school are included in the NHPTV state counts which you can find here. RMS results are posted below:

I can tell you from my observations that our polling location was a safe, respectful, and spirited place for our students to express their opinions. I especially enjoyed the conversations and debates between students on particular issues as the entered and exited the lobby. I'm hoping you will have the same experience when you vote on Tuesday!

RMS Notes and Information

-Quarter One Report Cards are available online in the student portal beginning at 330p on Thursday, November 10. Paper copies can be printed directly from the portal or requested from the RMS front office. Please direct any questions about specific grades and comments to the appropriate teacher. Thank you and congratulations to our students for all of their efforts this Q1.

-Just a quick reminder as the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches: If you are going to be taking your child out of school for any extra days, you will need to inform the school office in writing, either by email to Julia Wybourne or a hand written note.

-We've been working to more fully utilize our school Facebook page. Please check us out and give us a "like"!

-Come Join Us for our Annual Fall Talent ShowFriday, November 18 7:00pm RMS Auditorium $5.00 per ticket

Twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring we have a chance to come together and laugh, cry and be amazed as we watch our students and staff show off their "talents".  Our fall show will feature a variety of instrumental, singing, dancing and acting performances from students in all grades.  Tickets for this show will be sold at the door.  The show should be over by 9:00pm.

-Congratulations to all of the homeroom groups who participated in the Pumpkin Decorating Contest on Monday. We had about 30 terrific displays that brought a terrific spirit of fun to our day.

Community Calendar and Activities 

-Don't miss out!  The annual FORD SAYRE SKI SALE is on Sunday, November 6th from 12 -2:30 pm at the Richmond Middle School.  Find all your winter gear here - new and used!  Skis, boots, helmets, coats, ski pants, skates.  Ford Sayre representatives available for advice and recommendations.  Bring your used, clean, good condition gear for consignment.  - We sell it for you.... keep a bit to help run our programs. Consign on Friday night, November 4th 6-7:30 pmand Saturday morning, November 5th 9 - 11 am.  Think Snow, Think Ford Sayre Skiing!

-Football:  Hanover vs. Lebanon in the quarter-finals in Hanover. Saturday, Nov 5, 330p.

Tickets will go on sale at 2:15 pm for $5.00 for students or Senior Citizen. $7.00 adult per the NHIAA regulations.  Game starts at 3:30 p.m. We encourage everyone to arrive early to get a good seat. The snack shack will be open for drinks, snacks, burgers/hot-dogs and chili. 

-Hanover lacrosse is seeking boys youth coaches at the 3/4 and 5/6 grade levels for this spring.  Interested parties can contact Jim Healy at 603-369-7225 or
