Q1 Report Cards are available in the student portal. We hope that our report cards provide a periodic assessment of progress, achievements, and goals for each child in each of their courses. We also support viewing report cards as just that, a snapshot in time. We encourage looking at report cards with the added context of conversations with your child, Powerschool gradebook entries, Schoology class materials, Atlas curriculum overviews, and direct communications with your child's teachers.

Finally, it has been a busy and exhausting week for many in our community. I hope that the long weekend brings some rest and quality family time. For me, that will include some reflection and appreciation for the veterans in my extended family. Whatever your weekend brings I hope it is restorative and enjoyable.

Parents and family members are welcome to come and watch the game.
-Next Thursday, the 17th of November, the entire 8th grade will be partaking in a very special theatrical presentation.
With the cooperation and generous support of the Hopkins Center for the Arts, we will be attending a special showing of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice as performed and filmed at the Globe Theater in London. We will, weather permitting, be walking to the Black Center for a morning command showing. After the show, we will be busing back to RMS in time for lunch and our regular afternoon classes.
This show was performed in 2015 and stars Jonathan Pryce as Shylock. By all accounts, it is a wonderful and engaging performance. More information about the show can be found here: http://www.shakespearesglobe.com/theatre/whats-on/globe-theatre/the-merchant-of-venice-2015.
-The Library Makerspace will be open for a special after school session on Tuesday, November 15th from 3:00 to 4:15. Students will be able to create bookmarks, cards, pop-ups, paper quilling projects, and whatever they can imagine! 8th grade student Sophie U will be available to help teach students origami. All students are welcome!
