Frances C. Richmond Middle School
We look forward to welcoming your children morning as we kick off the new school year. The teachers and staff have been working hard over the last two days preparing learning spaces, lessons, and special activities for what should be an entertaining and educational start to the year.
I have included some brief reminders and announcements below. Typically, I'll send out a weekly newsletter on Fridays throughout the school year. In addition we share and archive information on our web page and via our school social media accounts. I'll say more about those in a future letter.
Speaking of the web page, we try and include copies of any handouts or school letters on the page under the "RMS Information" tab. If you are looking for a document it is likely there. If you don't find it there, let us know and we'll add it. For those who prefer a paper copy you can always request those as well.
Students will bring a few forms requiring signatures home . We thank you for completing the necessary information and returning them promptly.
Finally, we work hard to ensure you have the information you need in a timely manner. That said, we can always do better. Please let me know if you have ideas or questions about what is happening here at RMS. We are happy to help.

-Please be sure you have completed the Day 1 Annual Forms via InfoSnap(through the parent portal). It is important that you complete these online forms before your student(s) participates in any of our school activities this year. These forms include information such as health/medical, contact information, field trip permission, etc. Please help us attend to the well-being of your student(s) by providing us with the most up-to-date information.
Please access and complete your child’s registration information through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you are already using the Parent Portal (not your student's portal sign-in), you are all set to register. Just sign-in, click the InfoSnap registration button on the left and complete the forms. If you have not signed up for a Parent Portal account, you received login information earlier this summer from our IT department that will help you create a portal account. If you are unable to locate the previous email, please contact the RMS Tech Dept. at email@example.com for assistance.
