Weekly Schedule Callaway- Social Studies 4/21/14 - 4/25/14 Monday: •Get Civil War soldier’s name in Social Studies •Review packet, emphasize work at cemetery and encourage students to use media center web page for project •Use one period with partner to explore the Vermont Soldier web site. discuss terms, and information, then search for soldier •Each fill out the data collection sheet for the web site. What will be your bigger research topic? Battle, medicine, prison camps, camp life... •Every student print out infantry information, save for later. HW: Complete “Your Soldier at War: Gathering Information” sheet Tuesday: •Begin Census work-pass out example, with one from Heritage Quest on overhead.
